CAS Game #148 - Sketch + Optional Twist Animals

Hello!
How are you?
Ready for a new challenge at AAA Cards I hope!

This fortnight we have a CAS sketch for you to use when making your cards and the fun optional twist of animals if you'd like to include that.

The sketch can be rotated or flipped.

Our sponsor this fortnight is Craftyscrappers. And we're really excited as their prize is these two brand new sets of digi stamps. So no postage or import duty to worry about!

Thank you Craftyscrappers

We'll pick a top winner and some runners up!
It could be you!

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is Laura from soulshinedesigns. Here's her fabulous use of the sketch and the optional twist on a Christmas card.

We  hope you'll have time to go check out her blog - HERE

And of course the AAA Cards DT have been busy creating cards to inspire you to join in and play along. And some of us have even been playing with stamps from the Craftyscrappers prize sets too!

Simple colours, a crisp focal image and that all important empty white space make this card beautifully CAS.

Even though the focal image spreads across the front of the card, its simplicity of colour and clean lines still keep it CAS. And there is still plenty of empty white space too.

The random nature and multi colours of this card seem to disprove everything I've been saying about simplicity and clean lines so why is it still CAS?  It's the placement of the images, the empty white space at the top and the lack of layers or embellishments that keep it CAS.

Congratulations to you all, please grab our winners badge to display on your blogs.

Our current Challenge #147 is Along the Edge with the extra twist of Inspired by a Song and there is still plenty of time to get your entries in.

We'd love to see how you interpret this theme and come visit your blogs,
so don't delay, get crafting!

CAS Game #147 - Along the Edge + Optional Twist Inspired by a Song

Hello and welcome to a new challenge here at AAA Cards.

This challenge wants you to keep the focus of your CAS cards along one of the edges. And if you're feeling in good voice maybe you can add in the optional twist too!

Our sponsor this fortnight is CAS-ual Fridays for a $25 gift code to their store.

Thank you CAS-ual Fridays!

As well as the 1st place prize from our sponsor we also offer the winner the chance to be a Guest Designer for a future AAA Cards Challenge.

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is Angie Cimbalo. Have you seen her blog - HERE? Yes - well you'll know that it's full of amazing inspiration then; No - you need to get on over and take a look!

Loving the metallic look and the way the polka dots swirl along the bottom of her card.

The AAA Cards DT have made some awesome Along the Edge CAS cards to inspire you - and some of them may even have broken out into song too!

The Winners Circle #145: One Image + Positivity

It's time to showcase our fabulous prize winner and runners up for Game # 145

Thank you for all your gorgeous cards, our gallery was filled with the
most single image cards and that empty white space we so love here at AAA Cards.

The challenge theme was chosen by Jane and she has picked a winner.

1st place
and winner of a  Precious Remembrance Shop Sketchy Alphabet stamp set:

#17 Theresa P

This card just shone out for me with its beautiful sketchy single daisy image. I love the overall simplicity of the card design, the image, the minimal colours and the fabulously uplifting sentiment. CAS at its best!

Congratulations Theresa
please contact Jane with your details - aaacardchallenge@gmail.com

#9 Sentimental Sue

A great choice of a single image stamp and loads of that all important empty white space.

A double delight! Both cards using a super cute single image with added interest provided by the inked background which doesn't compromise the lovely empty white space.

A perfect example of how a single image on a very CAS card can still be exceptionally appealing to the eye. Love it!

Congratulations to you all, please grab our winners badge to display on your blogs.
