 #43 White Mood

Confining everything inside a shape is one of the best ways to keep a card CAS. We loved the simple colour scheme too.

#63 Dandi

A one layer card is always going to catch our eye. We loved the simplicity and freshness of this card.

#93 Ma-mi

A stunning black and white card with a simple embellishment and loads of empty white space.

Congratulations to you all, please grab our winners badge to display on your blogs.

Our current Challenge #181 is Up to 1/3 + Summer in January  and there is still plenty of time to get your entries in.

CAS Game #181 - Up To One Third + optional twist Summer in January

Hello and welcome to the first 2021 challenge here at AAA Cards.

We've had a bit of  longer break between challenges to allow for the Christmas Holidays, but we're now ready and raring to start out on this new year of challenges.

In the UK the days have been a bit gloomy recently, so we thought it would be fun to make the optional twist a nod to warmer days to come. And for those of you in the Southern Hemisphere it's bang on target!

We'll pick a top winner who will be invited to Guest Design for a future challenge and some runners up too!

We're delighted to welcome SmilynStef as our Guest Designer for this challenge. Her card is everything that a summer day brings to mind. Just magic!

It would be fabulous if you have time to pop over to her blog and leave her a lovely comment. - HERE.

And now for the AAA Cards DT. They've been donning their sunglasses and whipping up a treat of CAS cards to inspire you to play along.

Hey!

Before I get on to the announcing the winners I want to give you a heads up about something that's coming soon to our facebook group. Many of us are going to be experiencing a different sort of Christmas this year, maybe without family or on our own, so AAA Cards has decided to have four days of fun over the Christmas weekend. It will be good to connect with others from all over the world.

Not a member of our facebook group? Simply head over following this link and ask to join.

See you there!

And now it's time to showcase our fabulous prize winner and runners up for Game # 179.

Thank you for all your gorgeous cards, our gallery was filled with the
most beautiful cards and we had a tough time picking our favourites.

But it had to be done so here we go:

Gorgeous ink blending and a beautiful choice of die cut that really pops against it. Well over half of this card is the empty white space that we love.

CAS simplicity at its best! The stamped snowflakes take up less than a third of the card front and the enamel dots are definitely minimal embellishments.

Stunning in its simplicity with beautiful little touches that lift and create a superbly stylish card.

Congratulations to you all, please grab our winners badge to display on your blogs.

Our current Challenge #180 is Made in Minutes + Christmas  and there is still plenty of time to get your entries in.

The texture on the red strip is just amazing and contrasts so beautifully with all that smooth empty white space. Another very simple colour palette that also helps to keep the card looking fresh and CAS.

A perfect example of how pattern can be used on a CAS card - just keep it to a small section. The pop of colour with the adorable Santa is perfectly sized too.

#41 Maria from Mapi Creations

A gloriously designed and crafted Christmas scene. A simple use of colour, some awesome blending on the vertical strip and loads of empty white space - just perfect.

Congratulations to you all, please grab our winners badge to display on your blogs.
