The twist for this challenge was DT Lucie's choice and she has chosen her winner:

1st place

and winner of a £25.00 voucher from Heffy Doodle is:
  #43 Nananas

Lucie said: I loved Nancy's eye-catching take on our challenge theme and optional twist. The embossed ombre panel is wonderfully bold and the sentiment and Nuvo drops complement it so well. A great design which is beautifully CAS!

Congratulations Nancy,

#48 Izzy Scrap

We loved the embossed frame round Izzy's focal image and how it still allowed for that all important smooth empty white space. Great choice of stamp too, small and neat and very beautifully coloured.

Well this super cute and understated card really caught our eye! We loved the simple font of the greeting and the subtle colour scheme. The central placement also left lots of empty smooth white space.

#93 Lynda

A perfect CAS card! We loved Lynda's clever use of the negative die cut over her bold and vibrant coloured background. The addition of a trio of enamel dots just frames it perfectly without being too fussy.

Congratulations to you all, please grab our winners badge to display on your blogs.

Our current Challenge #138 is Along the Edge + Sewing and there is still plenty of time to get your entries in.

We'd love to see how you interpret this theme and come visit your blogs,
so don't delay, get crafting!

We'll pick a top winner and some runners up!
It could be you!

A clever choice of stamp - one stamped image but containing lots of smaller ones inside it. A simple matted layer, lots of empty white space and a crisp clean look made this card beautifully CAS.

A really fabulous use of patterned paper peeking through the pretty die cut butterfly. We loved the white space and overall white feel of this crisp uncluttered CAS card.

#83 Wei

Another fabulous use of a die cut allowing a monochromatic bright background to shine through. A beautiful clean and simple but eye catching card.

Congratulations to you all, please grab our winners badge to display on your blogs.

Our current Challenge #137 is Made in Minutes + Dry Embossing. There is still plenty of time to get your entries in, but please remember that although the twist is embossing there should still be plenty of  smooth empty white space on your card too.

CAS Game #137 - Made In Minutes + Optional Twist Dry Embossing

Hi!

Welcome to the new challenge here at AAA Cards. For the next fortnight we'd like you to be quick when creating your CAS cards.

But don't panic, you can gather your supplies and ideas together taking your time. Once that's all sorted we'd like your card to be created in minutes, we're saying 30, but 15 or less would be even better. The idea is that with time at a premium your card should be simple enough to create quickly.

Remember the S in CAS means SIMPLE!

We'll pick a top winner and some runners up!
It could be you!

Our sponsor this fortnight is Heffy Doodle for a £25 voucher to their shop.

Heffy Doodle

Thank you Heffy Doodle!

As well as the 1st place prize from our sponsor we also offer the winner the chance to be a Guest Designer for a future AAA Cards Challenge.

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is Kateryna. She is one of our instagram followers and linked up her winning card from there. Do go visit her instagram stream and leave her some love.

A couple of goodbyes to long serving members of the AAA Cards DT

Cheryl has needed to step down as her busy life and family commitments are preventing her from getting into her craft space at the moment. Thanks for all your inspiration and hard work at AAA Cards. We will miss you, but wish you luck and happiness for your future.

Elaine
And I'm sad to say this will be Elaine's last gig as an AAA Cards DT member. Sometimes life just gets too complicated and crafting has to take a bit of a back seat. We're sorry to see you go Elaine and wish you all the best for the future.

And here are the speedy CAS cards  from the rest of the DT.  It would be lovely if you visited our blogs and left us some love!
