Game #199 - No Layers + optional twist Hugs

 Hello!

Welcome to the next challenge here at AAA Cards.

As well as the main compulsory theme of No Layers we've added in the optional twist of Hugs. We all need them for sure!

Our wonderful Guest Designer for this challenge is Cat Craig and she has created the cutest card incorporating the twist.

Isn't that just adorable? I hope you can find time to pop over to her blog and leave her a lovely comment - HERE.

Now it's the turn of the AAA Cards DT. Every single one of them has embraced the Hugs twist!

(with a video on her blog)

IshaniJoy & Lucie are taking a break this challenge. We're sending them hugs to help them in their busy lives.

We're looking forward to seeing your CAS cards fill our gallery. Just remember here at AAA Cards we love empty, non patterned white space.

#1 SmilynStef

Such a contemporary and graphic use of the two quarters. We loved how the quarters were placed in the centre of the card.

Gorgeous ink blending and a clear two quarters made this a DT favourite.

Opposite corners and clear open white space caught our eye.

Congratulations to you all, please grab our winners badge to display on your blogs.

Our current Challenge #197 One Inch Strip + A Coloured Cardbase and there is still plenty of time to get your entries in.

Game #197 - One Inch Strip + optional twist Coloured Cardbase

Time for the next challenge here at AAA Cards.

The main theme is to only use a one inch strip and keep everything, including the sentiment within it. The rest of the card should be empty, non-patterned, non embossed or textured white space.

This time we have the optional twist of using a coloured card base, so that should be fun!

We have Janet (Swanlady) joining us as our guest designer for this challenge. here's her card:

I hope you'll pop over to her blog and leave her a lovely comment - HERE.

And how have the DT interpreted this theme? Let's take a look:

The Winners Circle #195 Along the Edge + Dry Embossing

It's time to showcase our overall winner and runners up for Game # 195

Thank you for all your gorgeous cards, our gallery was filled with the
most beautiful cards and we had a tough time picking our favourites.

But it had to be done so here we go:

The theme was chosen by Lucie and she’s chosen her favourite:

#14 Deborah

There was a beautiful collection of cards in the gallery but Deborah's stunning CAS card caught my eye straightaway. I love how she used subtle embossing and pops of colour from the butterflies to create this elegant card!

Congratulations Deborah,
please contact Jane to arrange a guest design spot -

 #19 Charlotte

We loved how charlotte stamped off the edge and kept the sentiment very simple. The beautiful colours and colouring also caught our eye.

The embossed edge of Jacqueline's card is just stunning and we loved the added details that didn't encroach on all that glorious white space.

#25 Joanne

How gorgeous does Joanne's almost completely white card look? Embossing used in such a stylish and effective way!

Congratulations to you all, please grab our winners badge to display on your blogs.
