And now it's time to showcase our fabulous prize winner and runners up for Game # 132

Thank you for all your gorgeous cards, our gallery was filled with the
most beautiful cards and we had a tough time picking our favourites.

But it had to be done so here we go:

1st place
and winner of a CAS-ual Fridays $25 gift certificate is:

#56 Aleksa

A perfect placement of a home made stencil using masking to ensure only one third of the card was coloured. We also loved the beautiful pastel colours and empty, unpatterned and flat smooth white space.

Congratulations Aleksa,
please contact Jane with your details - aaacardchallenge@gmail.com

#25 Maria F

We loved the stamp choice that allowed for plenty of colour and plenty of faux texture without impinging on the CAS requirement of our challenges. Once again loads of empty, unpatterned and flat smooth white space.

This stamp set was made for our challenge! It automatically only used one third of the card front, but allowed for a rainbow of bright colours and lots of empty, unpatterned, flat smooth white space.

The use of this die adds extra interest and dimension without compromising the empty, unpatterned flat smooth white space. We loved the placement and blend of pretty colours peeping through.

Congratulations to you all, please grab our winners badge to display on your blogs.

Our current Challenge #133 is One Layer + the optional twist of Love and there is still plenty of time to get your entries in.

We'd love to see how you interpret this theme and come visit your blogs,
so don't delay, get crafting!

The Winners Circle #131: Sketch + Pastels

It's time to showcase our fabulous prize winner and runners up for Game # 131

Thank you for all your gorgeous cards. We were so impressed by how you took our simple little sketch and created so many variations with it. An extra thank you to those of you that joined in with our just for fun twist of pastel colours. Our gallery was filled with the
most beautiful cards and we had a tough time picking our favourites.

Here's our picks:

1st place
and winner of a Happy Little Stampers SMILE stamp set is:
Janet Swanlady

Such amazing blending of those pastel colours and the sweet addition of simple flowers is just perfect. Love the stitched detail of the strips that adds extra without compromising the CASness of this card.

Congratulations Janet,
please contact Jane with your details - aaacardchallenge@gmail.com

A pretty ombre selection of pinks and the boldness of the black die cut sentiment really caught our eye. We loved how the empty white space was just left as empty white space!

Beautiful pastel wavy stripes and an inlaid die cut sentiment makes this card a perfect example of what we were looking for. Once again plenty of empty white space.

We loved how this card turned the sketch and the flowers were so perfect for the stripes. The addition of a die cut greeting across the bottom still allowed for plenty of empty white space and you know we love that at AAA Cards.

Congratulations to you all, please grab our winners badge to display on your blogs.

CAS Game #132 - Up To One Third + Masking

Hey! Welcome to the new challenge here at AAA Cards.

We have another helpful CAS theme this fortnight - we'd like you to only use one third of your card for images and greetings.

Less than one third would be fine too, but one third should be the maximum. This of course means leaving two thirds of your card completely empty - that lovely 'white' space needed for CAS cards.

We'll pick a top winner and some runners up!
It could be you!

Our sponsor this fortnight is CAS-ual Fridays for a $25 gift certificate to their shop.

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps

Thank you CAS-ual Fridays

As well as the 1st place prize from our sponsor we also offer the winner the chance to be a Guest Designer for a future AAA Cards Challenge.

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is Julie B. Julie has kindly stepped in to GD with us when we had a little gap in GD dates. She has the most gorgeous card which I know you'll going to want to discover the creation details about. Go visit her blog - HERE.

The Winners Circle #130: Three of Something

It's time to showcase our fabulous prize winner and runners up for Game #130 - Three of Something

Thank you for all your gorgeous cards, our gallery was filled with the
most beautiful cards and we had a tough time picking our favourites.

But it had to be done so here we go:

1st place
and winner of an in stock stamp set from Uniko

# 86 Mac Mable

How beautiful is this card! We loved the subtle pastel colours, the bokeh effect, the curved sentiment and the layout that left plenty of white space.

Congratulations Mac Mable,
please contact Jane to claim your prize by 27th January - aaacardchallenge@gmail.com

Top Three

 In order of entry

#15 Wei

A crisp and beautifully clean looking card. The placement of the three images uses only a third of the card leaving loads of smooth empty white space.

#16 Nisha

This stamp could have been made for our challenge of using three! We loved how it was given centre stage, simply coloured and left to be the star of the show.

#65 Ma Mi

And how super cute is this image! The starry night sky behind the bears really helps to make them pop without encroaching on that all important white space.

Congratulations to you all, please grab our winners badge to display on your blogs.
