CAS Game #169 - Made In Minutes + optional twist Christmas In July

So here we are in July!
How are you all doing? Ready for a new challenge I hope!

So the main and compulsory theme of July's CAS card challenge is Made in Minutes. Now don't panic you can have as long as you like to gather your ideas and supplies, but once that's done your card should come together quickly.

We also have a very popular twist for this time of year - Christmas in July. I know lots of you are going to go with the twist but please remember not to get too carried away and forget that your card not only needs to be CAS but also quick and simple to create.

We'll pick a top winner and some runners up!
It could be you!

We're really excited to welcome a brand new sponsor for this challenge -
Time For Tea Designs. Their prize is a £15.00 credit to their store.

You are so going to love their cute stamps!

The Winners Circle #167: One Layer + Inspired by a graphic

It's time to showcase our fabulous prize winner and runners up for Game # 167

Thank you for all your gorgeous cards in our gallery. We loved how so many of you were inspired by our optional twist photo. And once again you made it very difficult to pick favourites.

But it had to be done so here we go:

1st place
and winner of a STAMPlorations $15 giftcard to their digi store is:

#9 Vicky

The most beautiful one layer card with perfect placement of the image and sentiment to leave plenty of empty white space. We loved how you were inspired by the optional twist photo too.

Congratulations Vicky!

Please contact Shery to claim your prize - stamplorations@gmail.com and Jane about a Guest Design spot - aaacardchallenge@gmail.com

#20 Meghan

Keeping all the images and the sentiment in a strip is a perfect CAS design and leaves loads of empty white space. We also loved the cute little butterflies and colours taken from the optional twist photo.

Using a defined space on a card like this inked up circle is a brilliant design trick to help keep your card CAS. The simple stamping of the butterfly outline and greeting on top works brilliantly!

Another superb example of leaving plenty of white space without taking away the beauty of a card. In fact we think the empty white space around the butterflies just increases the impact of the awesome colouring.

Congratulations to you all, please grab our winners badge to display on your blogs.

Our current Challenge #168 is One Corner + Use Masking and there is still plenty of time to get your entries in.

We'd love to see how you interpret this theme and come visit your blogs,
so don't delay, get crafting!

Thank you for all your gorgeous cards and birthday wishes.

Here's the DT Top Picks

A fabulous CAS card with over half of the card front left as glorious empty white space.

A corner placement and a crisp image makes this card super CAS. And I love balloons!

Well look at all that empty white space and fabulous colouring! And how lovely to have a masculine card in the gallery.

#87 Sue

Clean clear simple images and plenty of white space around them makes for a fantastic CAS card.
