It's time to showcase our fabulous prize winner and runners up for Game # 173

Thank you to everyone who played along and especially to those that twisted with us and went to the movies. It was so much fun to guess which film had taken your fancy.

Here's our picks:

1st place

Maaike chose the twist for this challenge and her winner is:

I thought the link to the movie The Birds and it being in B&W was just awesome.

Congratulations Granne,

Top Three

 In order of entry

As well as being an amazing CAS design with all that glorious empty white space we really loved how this was an easily recognised movie choice too.

No problems with recognising this movie either! We loved how the diagonal line from the sketch was interpreted as waves.

An absolutely iconic series of movies on Maria's card. And another awesome use of the sketch leaving all that glorious open empty white space.

Congratulations to you all, please grab our winners badge to display on your blogs.

Our current Challenge #174 is Up to One Third + Woodland Animals and there is still plenty of time to get your entries in.

We'd love to see how you interpret this theme and come visit your blogs,
so don't delay, get crafting!

The Winners Circle #172: One Layer + My Other Hobby

It's time to showcase our fabulous prize winner and runners up for Game # 172

Thank you for all your awesome cards and sharing your other hobbies with us without forgetting to keep everything on One Layer. You're just amazing!

Tough to pick winners, but we did:

1st place
and winner of a Joy Clair $25 credit to their store is:

#7 Cimbacreativefun

We loved the placement of the elements of this card leaving white space all round and making it so pleasing to the eye. We also loved the simple colour scheme and the fun sentiment.

Congratulations ,
please contact Jane with your details - aaacardchallenge@gmail.com

#12 Julia

Confining most of the focal image inside a small shape is a great way to keep your card CAS. Looks like this could be an expensive hobby or maybe, if it's just a dream, a really cheap one.

#27 Katrina

Of course you don't have to use the optional twist as this pick proves. This is a beautiful One Layer card with plenty of interest, bags of open empty white space and instant appeal.

#36 Dena

Gardening proved to be a popular choice for many of you who twisted with us. We loved this underground/overground scene and placing everything in one of the bottom corners is a brilliant way to keep your card CAS.

Congratulations to you all, please grab our winners badge to display on your blogs.

Our current Challenge #173 is Sketch + At The Movies and there is still plenty of time to get your entries in.

We'd love to see how you use our sketch and maybe twist with us too.
So don't delay, get crafting!

The Winners Post #171: Along the Edge + Beach

Thank you for all your wonderful Along the Edge cards. Our gallery was filled with the
most awesome cards and we loved all the brilliant ideas for including the twist of BEACH.

Here's our picks:

1st place

chosen by Michelle as it was her twist of BEACH

and winner of a STAMPlorations $15 credit to their digital store is:

#58 Stephanie

And it's not difficult to see why this card was our winner.  Mega white space, no embellishments at all and the cutest of stamps!

Congratulations Stephanie,
please contact Shery at STAMPlorations to claim your prize - stamplorations@gmail.com
and Jane to arrange a Guest Design spot - aaacardchallenge@gmail.com

Top Three
 In order of entry

#15 Conil

The top edge used for such a sweet scene really caught our eye.  And check out that white space too!

#23 This little place

How gorgeous is this scene along the bottom edge! We loved how not adding a sentiment kept this card so beautifully CAS.

#35 Dena

Can you see the movement created in this card? The off the edge image allows for more empty white space and is a great idea for keeping everything even more CAS.

Congratulations to you all, please grab our winners badge to display on your blogs.

Our current Challenge #172 is One Layer + my other hobby and there is still plenty of time to get your entries in.
