But before their introductions we'd like to say the hugest thank you to everyone who showed an interest in joining the AAA Cards DT. To say we were overwhelmed by the response would be a massive understatement.
We so appreciate that you put yourselves forward and were brave enough to add DT when you linked up and we're so sorry that we couldn't accept you all. We were spoilt for choice and found it impossible not to increase our DT size from ten to twelve. Such a wonderful community of talented crafters was revealed and we love all of you!
So who did make it onto our team? Well here they are:
Hi! I´m Åsa and I'm from Sweden. I live there with my family. We have
three kids, one 15 years old son and twin girls that are ten. I work as a
teacher since 18 years.
I started with card making back in 2007 when I was pregnant with my
twins. I even do layouts. My card style in defenitely CAS and nothing
else but CAS. I LOVE to create clean and simple.
I´m very excited to be in the AAA Cards design team!
Hello, I'm Cheryl and I live in Michigan with my family. I am married
to my best friend and we have a son in kindergarten and twin girls that
are three. I am an engineer and card making is my creative outlet. I've
been crafting in some way most of my life but really discovered card
making a couple of years ago and have been having so much fun with it
since. So excited to be joining the AAA Cards Design Team!

Hi, I live in Oxfordshire in the UK and have been crafting for a
lifetime! I dabble in lots of different crafts from knitting and
embroidery to cross stitch and sewing and, of course, card making. My
card making style is CAS, CAS and CAS! Even when I attempt mixed media
cards they seem to turn out CAS. At the moment I am trying my hand at
print-making - linocut, dry point etching, etc. What ever I do I always
have time for card making!

I joined Instagram 18 months ago, I discovered this wonderful crafty

Hiya, my name is Maaike Uijthoven, I've been playing along the AAA cards
Challenges for a few years now and I am delighted to have become one of
their DT members!
I am 47 years old from Delft the Netherlands and have been crafting
since kindergarten, different crafts, but cardmaking has always been
there, in one form or the other. I found CAS cards are my thing, love
the simple and elegant feel of the cards. I have two cats and a
vegetable garden, I do volunteer work twice a week, keeping me busy, but
I always have time to craft!
Hello Everyone! My name is Tracie Pond and I am grateful to be joining the amazing AAA Cards Challenge Team. Home is beautiful West Michigan, where I live with my Husband of 18 years and our two Labradoodles. I feel very strongly about kindness. Some form of crafting has been a part of most of my life. I have been creating cards for about 10 years. Around 3 years ago cardmaking turned into a passion of mine. It is a way for me to relax. Honestly, cardmaking just makes me happy and if I can make others happy by sending them a handmade card (smile) that is a bonus! All of my cards are sent to either Family, friends or are donated. Other interests: flower gardening, nature, technology and reading are just a few.
We're sure you'll agree they are all awesome CAS card makers and hope you will give them the warmest welcome as they make their AAA Cards debut.
We'd like to see CAS cards that use heat embossing or wax or any other product you know of that can resist colours applied on top.
We'll pick a top winner and some runners up!
