CAS Game #142 - One Layer + Optional Twist Only Black & White

HI! Welcome to our next challenge here at AAA Cards!

And an enormous thank you to everyone who joined in with our 5th Birthday Bash. You made it every bit as special as we hoped it would be!

We're currently working on sorting the prize winners and they will all be announced on the winners post next Sunday, 16th June.

One more piece of exciting news to share before we get onto the new challenge - we have a brand new DT member!  We're delighted to welcome Michelle Wallace onto the team - I'm sure you already know her for her amazing CAS style.

Here's a little introduction:

My photo

I live by the beach in a bayside suburb of Melbourne, Australia with my husband of 32 years.  We are empty nesters (2 sons 27 and 30) and recently retired after having run our own business for 25 years.  I have been making cards for about 9 years now and  I'm so excited to be joining the team.

So we're now back up to a team of nine, but have still got two more places to fill.

Do you fancy joining us?

Well all you need to do is add DT after your name in the link up when you add your CAS card. More details can be found at the bottom of this post.

Finally on to the new challenge!

It's a favourite with CAS Card makers - One Layer and Asa has chosen the optionnal twist of Only Black & White.

We'll pick a top winner and some runners up!
It could be you!

Our sponsor this fortnight is STAMPlorations for a $15 gift code to be spent in either their main or digital store

Thank you Shery & STAMPlorations!

As well as the 1st place prize from our sponsor we also offer the winner the chance to be a Guest Designer for a future AAA Cards Challenge.

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is Nancy from madebynananas. I'm sure you've all come across Nancy before as she's such a superb CAS card maker! I hope you'll follow the link to her blog and leave her a lovely comment.

Well that's a WOW then!

All the AAA Cards DT have made CAS cards to inspire you.  It would be lovely if you visited our blogs and left us some love too!

What you need to know about the DT Call
  • You must have a good understanding about what makes a card CAS and be able to create cards that match AAA Cards strict CAS definition - see the tab at the top of this page if you're unsure
  • You need to have the time to make a card for each challenge - that's one a fortnight
  • You need to have the time and enthusiasm to leave positive and encouraging comments on one column from the player link ups
  • And also help choose the winners for each challenge
This DT call will remain open throughout this challenge.

We're looking forward to seeing your CAS cards fill our gallery. Just remember here at AAA Cards we love empty, non patterned white space.

And don't forget the DT Call!!!!
