Hey!
Welcome to the last challenge for 2019. But before I get on to telling you about that I have some other news to share.
We are saying goodbye to three DT members - Bharati, Melissa and Tracie. We are of course sad to see them go, but wish them every success for their future plans and hope to see them playing along with future challenges when and if they find the time. I know all three of them are going to be super busy with one thing and another and we are thankful to have got to know and work alongside them.
We are delighted to introduce you to the three ladies that will be filling their talented shoes and hope you'll be as delighted to see them as we are. And they've all made cards for our new challenge too!
From the age of two I have always had an instrument of art in my hand. It started with crayons and never stopped. I was signed up to art school after graduation from nursing school but met my hubby and that led me down a different path. I have been rubber stamping for over 45 years.
Back then I was only able to find stamps and ink pads in the local drug store. I had my youngest, born with Down’s Syndrome, and stayed home where I began teaching online. After my boys were in school I started working in craft and stamp stores, sadly all now closed. I have been teaching card crafting as well as other crafts for 12 years in the library system. I love to share my “talents” that God gave me with others.
My name is Francesca and I'm really thrilled to join the Design Team here at AAA Cards. I live in Rome, in Italy for over 16 years. I work in a multinational company as a Service Manager, I am the mother of a princess, Sofia and a wife. I started making cards few years ago and I really love to do it. My favorite style is clean and simple, I love coloring with Copic markers and Distress Oxide.
Hello, I am Joy. I am originally from India. My husband and I moved to Hong Kong in 2014, and we have been here since then. Ever since I was a kid, I have enjoyed card-making. What started as a hobby later turned into a passion, and now, card making is more of an addiction! (A good one to have I think.☺️) I started making CAS last year, and I have absolutely enjoyed participating in the unique and amazing challenges at the AAA Blog as they helped me think outside the box.
I am very excited and honoured to be a part of the AAA Design Team and to work with all these fabulously talented designers. Also, I can’t wait to see all your gorgeous CAS cards. Keep crafting.❤️

Now on to that challenge and it's a quirky one. The main theme is Along the Edge - well that's easy enough! But our twist is a little unusual - Time Travel.
How you interpret that is up to you. Some of us have opted for the idea of Santa time travelling around the world delivering his gifts, but if you fancy a change from Christmas then go with the science fiction idea instead.
We'll pick a top winner and some runners up!
It could be you!
Our sponsor this fortnight is STAMPlorations for the chance to win $15 to spend in store. And the super generous and lovely Shery spotted that this challenge runs on for longer than usual and has added an additional prize of $15 to a random pick winner.
Shery has also joined in with this challenge and made a card to showcase her stamps and what you maybe could buy if you're one of our winners.
Thank you Shery and STAMPlorations
We've also got a previous winner joining us as our Guest Designer for this final 2019 challenge - Coni. Be impressed and in awe of how she's added the Time Travel twist to her fabulous CAS card!!!
Isn't that just soooo clever! Please do go visit her blog and tell her so!

We're looking forward to seeing your CAS cards fill our gallery. Just remember here at AAA Cards we love empty, non patterned white space.
